It has been one month since starting Noom and I am happy to say that I am seeing and feeling results — slowly but surely! I will be documenting my Noom journey with a monthly blog post detailing my progress. So without further adieu — here is my month one Noom review!

Have you tried Noom?

Thanks to Noom for supplying a free four month trial to help me write this post today! However, this post reflects my own personal opinion about the Noom program.

First off — for those who live under a rock — what is Noom?!

Let’s get one thing straight — Noom is not a diet plan. The Noom platform helps people live a…

Thank you for sharing! I was (am currently down a bit) at my heaviest most recently. Because of my weight, I find it challenging to work out. My weight loss - which is only about 10 pounds - has solely consisted of changing my eating habits! The saying of "Abs are made in the kitchen" is (kinda) true!!

"Kids say the darndest things" really applies here! But little Liam sounds so wise and mature with these comments! Thank you for sharing!

Ontario is slowly beginning to open up again and residents are able to socialize (in small groups), some overnight camping is available, and shops are able to open their doors again (with limited capacity). Even though restrictions are starting to be lifted, folks are still hesitant to be out in crowds and leary to travel to urban areas. This year, save a few bucks, stay safe in your own home vicinity, and enjoy some backyard family fun — in your own back yard!

Being a SAHM was never even a consideration for me! I returned to work, part-time, after only six months on maternity leave because I wanted to and I experienced zero #momguilt in the process. To each their own, but I am happy being a full-time working mom.

theMaskWash system was created by two Canadian sisters who clearly knew there was — and still is — a need for a simple and daily method of washing cloth face masks. These lovely ladies have created an easy and hygienic way to wash our masks each and every day!

Our nine year-old daughter just doesn’t stop growing! I just placed an online clothing order with Old Navy and this may be the last year that clothes from the kids section will fit our not-so-little girl! Here are some tips for dealing with the struggle of shopping for a growing child.

We’ve always known that our daughter would be tall, but over the last year or so, she’s not only grown up — but out! This statement isn’t meant to be a dig or to shame my sweet girl, but is a true fact! She does not have a slim…

As a parent, ensuring our daughter understands that we work for everything we have in life — our home, food in our bellies, clothes on our backs — is a fundamental life lesson. It is important that our girl learns that we don’t just get things handed to us — we have to work for it. Therefore we are beginning to issue a weekly allowance to our child in return for simple household chores. Here are a few tips for getting kids to do chores and teaching them the value of money.

We, as adults, often have a stack of books ready and waiting to be delved into. Regularly, we browse the best-sellers list for the latest and greatest novels to add to our collection. But what about our children’s reading material? Here is a list of suggested books to add to your kids reading list!

My daughter will be nine this week and has taken a real liking to reading in the past few months. Since her reading comprehension has improved so well in the last while, she shows a great deal of interest in chapter books.
